A little makes
a Big difference

Commissions & Collaborations
At The Good News Shed, our members bring experience across woodworking, wood-turning, restoration, metalworking, and a wide range of practical skills to create bespoke items and deliver community projects.
From benches, planters and repairs to display items, props, community installations and unusual one-off projects, we welcome commissions from charities, schools, local organisations and individuals.
Every project gives our members the opportunity to share skills, learn together and make a positive difference. 100% of proceeds after material costs go directly towards running the Shed, helping us keep our workshop open, accessible and free for our members.
What We Can Help With
How We Work
We're a volunteer-led community workshop rather than a commercial manufacturer. The projects we take on depend on available skills, member interest, workshop capacity, and whether the work is suitable for our facilities.
Have an Idea?
Send us a few details, including approximate dimensions, photographs or drawings if you have them, and when you need it. We'll let you know whether it's something we may be able to help with.
Email us at: info@thegoodnewsshed.org to discuss your next project.
