A little makes
a Big difference
Donate Tools And Materials
The Good News Shed is built on generosity, and donations of tools and materials help keep our workshop open, accessible, and free for those who need it most. Whether it’s a well-used hand tool, surplus timber, or workshop equipment you no longer need, your donation gives new life to both the materials and the people using them. Every item helps us create a space where people can learn new skills, regain confidence, and feel part of a supportive community.
We welcome a wide range of donations, from hand tools and power tools to wood, fixings, finishes, and other usable materials. These resources are used in member projects, community builds, and skills training sessions, helping reduce waste while supporting wellbeing. Donated items don’t just sit on a shelf, they become part of meaningful projects that bring people together and make a real difference.
If you have tools or materials to donate, we’d love to hear from you. Your support helps us keep the lights on, expand what we can offer, and ensure that everyone who walks through our doors has the opportunity to create, connect, and contribute.
